Kanye’s missus revealed new platinum blond locks in Paris yesterday while attending Fashion Week. Kim is styled by her other half, and he seems to like her looking very edgey. I… I… well, I hate it. Like majorly. But my opinion is irrelevant. People reports that,
The last time Kardashian lightened her locks was in September 2013, three months after she gave birth to North West. At the time, Andy Lecompte Salon colorist George Papanikolos told E! News that her husband “loved” Kardashian’s new look. “He was a big cheerleader for her to go blond,” Papanikolos said.
Well, Kanye loves her blond so… I still hate it. I’m not opposed to the shade- Marilyn, Jayne, Madonna, Gwen, even Lady Gaga have all owned it. But Kim has always looked so perfect with black hair.
Let me backtrack off this tangent and proceed. Kanye loves her as a blonde, and the man has gone on, and on, and on- he’s gone on more than Joni Mitchell and Erykah Badu combined- about Kim’s looks. Here’s a sampling:
‘I can’t be with any girl but Kim because that’s the girl I look at her pictures the most, I get turned on the most.’ (The Daily Mail)

Out of all the many things Kanye has said about Kim over the last few years, it is a pretty recent quote he made during his interview with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club that made me pause. From Necole Bitchie:
“… it’s important for her to stand up, I think, in all of her glory, in all of her power, her power is in her body. It’s in her nudity. Her power is in her mind, it’s in her family, but body is one of her powers.”
Her power is in her body. Shudder. He was questioned by co-host Charlamagne about what happens when Kim gets old. Kanye responded by saying she’s always going to have that body (double shudder)- and then repeated she’d also have her mind and family.
Kanye, man, no, she will most definitely not have that body when she’s old (I’m not even sure that’s the same body she had when she was keeping up with Paris Hilton). People age. ALL PEOPLE AGE. With time, everybody, even the spawn of Kris, will get old, and there’s not enough implants, lipo or botox to stop that. Psalm 90:5-6 says:
You sweep people away like dreams that disappear. They are like grass that springs up in the morning. In the morning it springs up new, but by evening it is dry and withered.
